Gas/Oil Mixture Ratio

I have a 1982 90 hp 2-stroke. What is the correct gas/oil mixture ration for efficent running of the engune?

It be 50:1 on those----And 40:1 for hard work.----These motors have a history of broken piston rings.----Do a compression test for future reference.----Post the actual values here.

50:1. Get a Ratio-Rite Mixing Bottle and you'll always be spot on.

I bought one of those bottles, once. After spilling gas on the readings, it dissolved the ink, making the bottle useless. Maybe the one you linked is better quality.

I used that exact one all summer and the numbers haven't come off yet.
