Getting engine error codes on Garmin with loud beeping??

Yamaha F50LB (2014) connected to Garmin Echomap Ultra 106sv using NMEA200. Garmin is getting engine data so gauges work and show trim, rpm, etc. When I turn the ignition to ON (engine getting power but not running) my Garmin starts beeping loudly and shows what looks to be engine codes! The first time I wired this all up it showed just one code, but now it's showing like 4!

Example:
'Alarm: 6C18591A34 - Engine 1 - engine start protect'. I get two options: OK and CONFIGURE. Configure seems to just take me to a menu where I can turn the alarm off. Other 3 codes are: 'Sensor malfunction', 'Sub or Secondary throttle', and 'Engine Shutting Down'

Are these stored ECU codes? I connected Yamaha YDS on my laptop (2017) and went to menu 2 'Diagnostic Record' and it's empty (diagnosis record is not available) and option 1 'Diagnosis' it lists Codes 13 through some other number and all are Result:Normal.

What's going on? Sure is annoying to have the Garmin beep at me every time I connect the engine! Another notes is the Engine icon on my Garmin Engine Gauge dashboard is red (while the other 3 dash lights such as temp and oil pressure are grey.

Are there somehow codes in the ECU that YDS can't access? How do I clear them?

Help!

I had similar issue when connecting new 70 to Garmin for gauges. Would get errors on Garmin but engine checked fine on software. I went into the Garmin and found a menu to turn off certain alarms. My guess is Garmin was looking for certain parameters that were not there and freaking out. After picking and choosing data I knew was available, Garmin is happy

Determined the same and did the same thing as you and turned off those alarms. Seems like some protocol mismatch between either Garmin or Yamaha
