google AI response to cobra upper large bearing clearance

bearing must be pressed until it contacts the gear. , to have the correct height in the carrier.
a 20 ton press removed the old bearing with difficulty, but the 20 ton press won't seat a new one. .
 
on the 5.0 upper there is supposed to be a clearance between the bearing and pinion gear. It allows for a bearing separator to fit and remove the bearing .

Yeah google ai gets that wrong a lot on these cobra uppers. On the 5.0 there’s meant to be some clearance between the large bearing and the pinion so you can get a separator in there later if you need to pull it. Don’t force it all the way against the gear or you’ll have a hell of a time next time.
 
???----Gears have to be mounted correctly.-----The term----" mounting distance " is used.-----Bearings are pushed against a specific spot so that gears mesh properly for long life.-----So bearing is pushed / forced on against a shoulder!
