I replaced the head gasket and manifold and carb gaskets
We damaged the block after a bolt broke in the head and attempted to drill and tap to use a bigger bolt
It’s holding after we torqued but the motor still sucks water
My next attempt was going to buy another power head but I’m concerned the job is not as easy as I had originally thought!
I don’t have the manual and can’t seem to find one locally in Surrey BC
Could the water be coming from the oil pan side?
Can I leave the motor on the boat to remove the power head
Any tips or pdf of the procedure would be awesome
Any bf50 or 40 hp for sale with a damaged lower unit?
