Honda bf150 vtec 2006 , power loss

I have a 2007 BF 150, it hasn't been running as good as it should. The rpm just goes to 5200. A year back it would do 5600-5800. I have changed fule filters hp,lp and the vtec screen. The prop looks fine too.Something is wrong , does Anybody have som ideas of what could help?

Check compression, 175-225? These engines have mechanical valves require a valve adjustment from time to time 400-600hrs. Adjusting valves back to spec will affect compression. Also there could be internal carbon buildup in combustion chamber try ring free or quick clean in the fuel to remove the carbon. what is condition of your prop? prop knicks dents could be increasing drag.

150, i have Done the valve adjusting, could it be compression,? and how to fix that ?
The prop is in good condition.

Have your injectors cleaned by a professional, I have a 2006 150 and the same thing was happening to me, I took the rail and injection to a professional injector cleaning outfit, and I get 5600 again, before the cleaning was 5000
