Impellor replace Tohatsu MFS2.5B 3.5B

Hi All,

I would like to attempt to replace the water pump impellor. {Tohatsu 2013 4 stroke 3.5 hp long shaft} I have changed out impellors on Johnson 6 and 9.5 hp motors in the past with no issues.

Any advice or suggestions as to the process would be appreciated. I do have the service manual. Would you recommend replacing the components that come with a repair kit? The motor is ten years old with low hours and the impellor has never been replaced but still pumps water.

I always do the complete kit. Same labor, slight upcharge. Pumps better and lasts longer.

Well I finally replaced the impellor. All went well. Streaming good water flow. Came apart and went back together with no issues. The video was a great help. Thanks all.
