As some of you may know, I'm trying to find a used lower for my BF40A. It's tough because most of them are just as corroded or damaged as mine is.
I might have a lead on one for a BF50a which I believe uses the same lower as the BF40a. The one issue is that it is a 25" shaft instead of a 20" shaft. No big deal, I can pull the 20" shaft off of mine and swap it. I just need to know that they are the same otherwise.
I can't think of any reason that they wouldn't be but I wanted to confirm first if possible.
