New to me 2000 Bayliner Capri 2050. Bilge pump wasn't working when I bought. Found fuse was blown and replaced it. Here's my ignorance, bilge pump still isn't working, but there isn't water in the bilge. Will it only turn on when float switch is engaged? And that only happens when enough water is present.
That sounds like the case when I say it out loud but want to make sure before I spend money on a diagnostic fee.
