The engine starts ok and idles then under load up to half throttle all good but after that as it climbed to higher revs it starts missing
Any ideas

Have you verified you have good water flow and the engine is not overheating?

Hi, thanks for reply yes when she was underway the water was warm to the touch but not the upper side of warm to hot????

I am waiting for my new spark plugs to arrive from Spain on Tuesday I don’t want to start taking the carb apart or tampering with the ignition system.

Yes....Spain? Where do you live? Often spark plugs are overlooked. Did the troubles begin after a storage period?

I live in Ireland but the marine parts direct is part of a European distributor and I can not get the Champion Ql82C plugs anywhere else.

Yes okay. I often use QL77JC4 also....gapped at around .030. they cost about $4 each here. I'm part Irish. Bucket list is come over someday.
