I have a 40hp Johnson 1996. Last season it suddenly stopped working. I found that there was no spark and I could test that one of stator coils was burned (orange wires). Now I changed the stator and the spark is back. But the engine will not start. The fuel is one year old. The sparks get wet from fuel. What could be wrong? Thanks for input
