Cleaning is usually all that is required.-----Do NOT remove the venturis on that 2 barrel single carburetor.----And why do you want to " rebuild " the carburetor ??-----Starting / running issues with your motor ?

Starts fine...runs a bit rough. So exactly which carb or other parts should be cleaned & whats your opinion about putting parts in a sonic cleaner. Might also be fuel pump issue
 
How did the motor run for you last season ?----Post some fact about your motor.----Step #1 is a compression test.----Post the actual values here.
 
Moror will start / run rough on 2 cylinders.-----Dirty set of points could be an issue.----Does spark jump a gap of 5/16" on each lead ?----Only you can touch / inspect / trouble shoot this motor.-----Worked on many of them when they were practically new !
 
Did not test compression last season so need to do a full diagnostic obviously this Spring...*I am not an engine guy per se so I have a few leads on local reliable vintage engine guys but I appreciate this forum giving me information about the things to look for diagnostically
