First of all would like to say, thank you for that link on the Tool! It worked like a champ.
Now I’m wondering is there any way of pulling the bearing carrier without the proper tool.
It almost looks like it’s threaded, but I told it’s not anyone know for sure?

The bearing carrier is probably corroded in place to remove it some guys soak the whole thing in ATF and penetrating oil for a while.
