Lower Gear Oil Leak around Prop Area 1975 85hp Johnson (75ESL74B)

Good afternoon. Motor has been sitting for years. After a ton of work, new parts and pieces got the motor purring on Saturday (a huge accomplishment for me). Came out the next morning and noticed a leak around the prop area running down the skeg (lower unit oil)

I'm assuming since the motor has been sitting for so long (10 years) the oil seals along the prop shaft have failed, I just wanted to validate that theory.

Any input appreciated.

That could be normal on a 2 stroke motor !---------Seals do not fail from sitting.-----------Pressure test the gearcase to find leaks if any exist.----------And this question is asked almost every week if not more often, nature of a 2 stroke running at idle for a long time.
