For N/O operation use a factory Merc switch like this-

Are you replacing your existing switch or swapping a mechanical fuel pump for a electric one?

if you go over to the iboats forum you can probably search it and find a homemade wiring diagram that someone doing the same as you did.

I think this style is better:

switch

that way you can add a 'prime' momentary switch or you can use the R terminal on the starter to turn the pump on while cranking...
