Mercury 150 optimax fuel leak

Hello, i purchased a boat with a mercury 150 optimax. I took
the boat out yesterday for the 1st time and she was fine for about an hr or so but then let off a constant beep.
Then started smelling gas, took off the motor cowl and found this pin hole leak of gas (pic attached) and also noticed the oil reservoir tank on the motor very low but the oil tank on the boat full.
Today the oil reservoir on the boat is full but tank on the boat is low a little)
Is this leak coming from the fuel water separating fuel filter?

1. Thank your god of choice for not causing an explosion
2. Do not even think of starting this engine until you fix it
3. Find the appropriate parts manual/diagram and order yourself a new fuel filter
4. Replace filter
5. Check for leaks. If no leaks then go to #6
6. Crack cold frosty beverage of choice
