mercury 15hp 2003 problem

Hi all, i have a mercury 15hp 2003. motor is running good on idle. but when we push to get go more fast the motor doesnt take is power. is bugging

we have change spark plug, gaz filter, carburator is new

we doesnt know what to do

Try spraying ether around the carburetor
If it revs up it is sucking air in that area

Mine was where the carb bolted up

i will check that, we change everything and still get this problem. even where i store my pontoon try to find it and he failed.

the problem is the guy who has winterize the motor, has forgot a towel in the silencer. when we put it in the water, we ran it for around 30 minutes to get rid of the fog. after that we found the towel and all the gaz has mix up with the oil

so we had to flush everything and redo the oil and filters
