I have power to 12v to starter motor but not to ignition or gauges ,assume 12v comes back from engine to ignition ? Is there a pin on the harness plug I can test that goes to back to ignition or fuse located ? Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

The power plug from the engine via the wiring harness to the control box sends 12v and ground from the engine to the control box. When the ignition key is in the ON or START positions, this 12v is sent out via a purple or red with a purple stripe wire back to the engine to get things going and if you have rolled on over to Start, the Yellow wire with the Red stripe energizes your starting solenoid. There is a 20 Ampere fuse (hiding in a waterproof rubber boot) in a larger red wire coming off the solenoid (very close to it) input 3/8" stud (12v distribution point) that powers some of the necessities of the system. I don't remember just what is down stream of that fuse.....not sure that the starting function is......I think more like PTT and maybe something else like maybe instrumentation is protected by it.
