Eh everyone.
I recently took my lower unit apart and the things I need to replace are breaking the bank. Costs for parts would be $850 while a new lower unit runs roughly $900...
the site says if I have a older engine I will need to change out the driveshaft and a few other things
can I use the same water pump? Will the pinion come with the new driveshaft? Will I need to take apart the new unit in order to install the driveshaft lime I had to do when taking it out?
How do I know what size my “transom” is?
says there are two sizes. A 20” and a 25”.
