Motor cutting out 1988 Evinrude 8 HP outboard

I'm not much of a mechanic but I've cleaned the carburettor and checked fuel lines, seems to be starting good but it runs for 30 seconds to a minute and then loses power and cuts out. Just replaced the fuel pump as I thought it may have been starved of fuel. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this to happen?

Post the actual compression test values.----Test run with another tank and hose.-----Water pump impeller replaced evert 5 years ?

There is a very small rubber hose in the float bowl. It often disintegrates. Is it there?

You have to use non ethanol fuel. Look what happened to my brother's little chain saw, never even cut wood yet. The dealer must have used ethanol to test run it....stupid !d!ots!
