Motor Trim Hydraulic Fluid Leak

How common is a trim pump/oil reservoir to leak? Have a 2014 5.7L Mercruiser and having trouble seeing the leak, just appears to be oil under the unit and level in reservoir is going down. Thanks

if its the plastic one it usually cracks where the mounting bolt goes thru the bottom of the res

I am an amateur mechanic. Is the pump and reservoir relatively easy to remove? Thanks again

2 bolts hole the pump to the bracket,

If you're in a salt water environment, there's a seller on eBay offering stainless steel brackets. They are very nice.
