Need help rebuilding my 57 fuel tank

Hello,
I’m trying to rebuild the diaphragm assembly and need help.

On right is orig.
Left is what they sent me
I don’t see how it’s supposed to work ?

Hi. No photos here to view. You have to reduce photo size to under 1K.

Huh? Can it flip over? And save that old one it doesn't look bad. They are made with extremely high quality materials.

?----The diaphragm pumps FUEL.-----The diaphragm does NOT pressurize the tank.-----I say there is nothing wrong with that diaphragm.
