need help with year of my outboard

I picked up a old mercury the other day in real nice shape. but I cant find any info on it its a 9.8 110 long shaft with electric start has the blue stripe under name and the serial # 4690716. any help would be great full .

A 1977 model.----Decals look like hockey sticks ?

yes under the 110 it looks like 3 hockey sticks. but it has just blue straight lines with the mercury decal. only under the 110 it has 3 hockey sticks
