Neutral safety switch

I have a Yamaha out board 115 will start intermittently, I believe it is a neutral safety switch. Once the throttle control box is open I see once switch 2 wires. Not sure if that’s for the trim or NSS.

Does it crank sometimes and not other times.----A trim switch has more than 2 wires.

Intermittent start indicates the motor is cranking while sometimes starting and sometimes not starting.

Or are you meaning to say that it cranks intermittently?
