new engines CAN harness pinout information required

Does anyone have documentation on the new engines CAN harnesses?
The new CAN harness connects directly from engine to SMG4 without any adapter cables. (my setup is a 2024 DF140B)

The pinouts are not in the service manual and I did not get a harness document from the dealer when I had the motor installed.
My specific harness part number is 36620-93ja0, 6.5m (the last two characters signify length and can be b0, c0, d0 for other lengths but essentially the same harness)
I would like the full pinouts, but would settle for the bullet connectors if that's all I can get.

I did find some Suzuki diagrams online but they are not detailed (no bullet connector color code detail, unused connector purpose or pinouts - the key, remote and SMG4 gauge connectors are obvious but not the unused ones)

Thanks

Unfortunately, Suzuki hasn’t publicly released full pinout details for the 36620-93JA0 CAN harness. Your best bet is to contact your dealer or a Suzuki marine tech directly they might share detailed wiring or bullet connector info. Meanwhile, check Suzuki forums where some users sometimes share partial diagrams or color codes.

Thx Antionette, I did ask a dealer. They said they don't have a detailed spec. They did tell me that the grey bullet is the nmea power, blk is gnd (when ignition switch is on, to prevent powering n2k terminators all the time, which was my objective). But then they started telling me that I need a power isolator for n2k and lost all credibility. (The Suzuki SMG4 is a gateway from the engine can bus to the users n2k network and all the diagrams Suzuki publishes don't require isolating SMG4 n2k power)

The larger unused connectors, according to dealer, are for 2nd helm expansion (but no detail).

The amount of folklore at dealership is more than it should be when it comes to Suzuki electricals. That is Suzuki corporate fault.

I hope Suzuki publishes the harness pinouts, this should not be a secret. At a minimum it should be in the OEM service manual.

Something like this? From a 2009 DF90A Setup Manual IMG_7620.jpeg

Hi William, thank you very much. I think this is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I did not get anything like it when I bought the df140b. Neither in the owners or the service manual which I bought later.

I will study this in more detail to confirm it answers my questions.

Remember it’s from 2009 and applies to a DF90A… I also have how the wiring harness plug together if you’re interested. Found the Setup manual on the internet.

I did review the page you posted in more detail. Thank you.

It refers to the prior harness model where the engine connector needs to be swapped from analog to digital.
Non the less, it confirms the grey colors for the nmea power pair

I'll post anything I get about the newer harness model if I find any.
