Older merc 2 stroke.

Have an older 2 stoke 4 horse merc motor that wont stop running when in neutral

Does it have a kill button?

No kill button.

Use the choke to kill the motor. The earlier phasemaker ignition engines did not have a kill button. You could also adjust the idle stop screw to allow the timing to be retarded enough to where the engine will stall.
