Theoretical Question:

Lets say a small or large amount of water gets into an engine

  • More in one side, than the other and
  • in intermittent cylinders.
How long before it fails completely (seizes)

Immediately, hours, days or a week?

If water is getting into the engine I would say it has already failed. You probably otta get it fixed now before something major breaks. I had water getting into a cylinder unkown to me and it totally obliterated the piston.

A few seconds if it is running when it happens.
