Upon removing the cowling/top cover of my port engine I discovered that there is a leak at the bottom of the port head.
It's hard to tell from the pics but most of the salt build-up is at the bottom of the port head. I think this hose gets connected to the "high pressure" thermostat at the bottom of the port side of the crankcase.
I was hoping to see a leak when I started the engine. To my surprise I did not see a leak at all. Is this because it was on the muffs and at idle? Does this portion of the cooling circuit not see water until higher RPM?
Any/all opinions are welcome.
