Removing Tilt and Trim Unit - Johnson 90hp

Hi I am trying to remove the tilt and trim unit on my 1990 johnson 90 hp motor and I am stuck. I can't get the wires through the bushing in the mount. I have two issues the wire harness going to the limit switch has three wires two grounded to the engine block and one white wire that goes to the back side of a three wire plug, so I can't see how to disconnect that so I can pull that harness through the mount. Second the two wires with plug doesn't appear it will fit through the whole in the mount without first getting the limit switch wire harness through and second pushing the bushing out. I have everything else done to drop the unit but get these wires through the hole. Any help is appreciated.

Remove the wire from plug...thin flathead screwdriver to press locking lug down and slip out of connector.

Thank you and I have looked for something like that but could not find it. Is there a gap some where under the o-ring or do you push with the screw driver on the back of the metal wire end connectors inside the plug? Thanks again.
