I have a Seaswirl boat that had a omc on it, put a Mercury on the boat. I have the wire harness going to the back dash on boat, it has all gauges in the dash wired up for omc. The tach has a 8 pin connector going into it. I have my purple/ grey wire I will tap into tach. Going to put a temperature in the dash and remove the trim gauge. I have a tan wire I was going to connect to the temperature gauge, there are 2 wires left on the harness black and a black with white stripe. Are there ground wires not sure where the go thinking tie them into temp gauge? Any thoughts? Thank you
