Seeking spring assembly recoil starter spring 1995 15hp mercury

Hi All hope someone can help us. My son bought an old 15hp Merc 1995 and recoil spring broke. the part is discontinued but maybe someone might have an one they can salvage from a scrap motor somewhere or know where o get one. The part number is 42194A2. thanks
