Should I use gasket sealer for carb gaskets?

I want to give my 15 hp carb new gaskets and I'm wondering whether I should put the OMC gasket sealing compound on the fiber gaskets or not? It says resistent to fuel but I don't want it gumming up the carb.

Use no sealers

No sealer but smearing a little grease on both sides of the paper gasket is one of my old stupid human tricks.

Agreed, no sealant at all. I do frequently use copper spray on paper based baskets so that they remove easily without tearing, but never any sealant.
