recap: engine only peed in a barrel.

Muffs did not make engine pee,

In the lake, she pees. Performed maintenance (including) impeller renew. Impeller did not look bad .

Replaced thermostat. Back flushed from thermostat housing to tell tale. Great flow.

Pulled out tell tale fitting on engine block. No blockage.

Pulled lower unit gain. Re- installed
impeller.
Tested to no avail.
? What about impeller to water pump?
Thanks again folks.

Don’t use the square ear muffs, use the one way round one, had the same problem with mine

So the telltail works on the lake and in a tank, but not on the muffs? I assume the engine is not overheating. You might not be getting enough water pressure through the muffs. I always flush my BF200 in a stock tank to avoid this issue.

I havent run it long enough to let it over heat. No pee, shut it down. Good idea on the tank. That must flush out the system too. I was running mostly in salt.
Thanks again.
