Suzuki DFA 25 2017 - plugs

Have recently purchased a boat with a Suzuki DFA 25 2017. The seller told me that he had never changed the plugs, so I bought 3 new plugs, but cannot find where plugs are located on the outboard. Have changed plugs before on various 2 strokes I have had, but here I cannot find where the plugs are located and what I have remove to get to the plugs. Grateful for help - love from Linda

If motor runs fine keep the plugs as spares.----More important is to install a new water pump impeller !

Screenshot from my 2009 DF90A, different engine than yours but the screenshot should be close enough to give you an idea what and where to look. In the tool kit that should have come with the engine will have a long spark plug wrench(about 6”) to reach the plugs. The standard plug wrench that comes with generic socket sets is way to short to work with your 4 stroke.

Read the owners manual for the maintenance schedule. On Suzuki tachometers one can read the running hours to date. If yours is a tiller model without a tachometer you might be able to get the operating hours, I don’t know. The owner’s manual will explain how to if it’s even possible with the tiller model.
