Triumph Carb Questions

I am cleaning a set of carbs from a 1972 65 hp. When I removed the low speed needles, one needle brought out the NEEDLE VALVE BEARING. The other 2 did not. Is there a technique to get the other 2 out so I can remove the jets?

Also, I have a set of carbs from a 1974 70 hp. They do not have low speed needles. Fixed jets like the high speed jets?

Cool. Will it survive?
I got one more out by screwing the needle all the way in (gently) and backing it out. It brought out the bearing.
On the remaining carb the bearing comes up about half way then gets stuck. I made a tiny hook, but it is stuck. Blew compressed air through the port at the top of the float chamber, was surprised where it came out. Bearing remains. Looking for a dry wall screw.

Turns out the '74 carbs low speed jets are adjusted by changing jet sizes and the '72 has fixed jets with a needle for adjustment.

Anyone know what percentage of fuel is coming through the low speed circuit versus the high speed circuit at WOT. ie. if you have a blockage in the low speed circuit how big an effect does it have at WOT ?
