What outboard do I have?

I bought this from a guy in Quitman, TX. The cowling says GT 150 but from what I read here the cowling and the engine don't match. It is a 6 cylinder with 3 carbs. M/N J150STLCD, not a typo.

Thank you. I had checked that out but it does not tell me if it is GT 150 or something else.

You have a 1986 Johnson 150. I'm not really sure if the GT was anything special or if it was just branding to sound good. It could be the previous owner damaged the engine cover and just sourced another one to replace it. The #1 thing to use for your engine is the model # from the tag on your transom bracket.
