Im back with another “not so easy fix”. Ive posted on here a few times and have gotten good feedback. I fixed the last problems with primer bulbs and i am getting better educated on this love of Outboards. Ive had a couple of weeks of normal boating and fishing, no problems. Then 2 days ago i went to accelerate and she bogged down. I would have to throw it in neutral so she could get the revs up. Every time i went to throttle up she would bog. If i moved the throttle ever so easy to about 2000 rpms she would start catching and plane out. So great at that rpm as well up to wot. So figured the carbs got some junk took them off , just rebuilt them btw. The bulb is good. Maybe fuel delivery. I put on a new filter and took out with me a 1 gal hook up tank. She was still doing it. Also did it on that tank too. Their goes my fuel delivery therar. Compression is at 143 all 3 cylinders. Also there is heavy carbon build up, like shes running rich, like she did a couple of weeks ago, when i had that bulb problem. I fixed that with needle adjustment. I havnt purchased a spark plug tester yet, im doing that today. This engine is 20 years old and super clean, all New fuel lines, tank to motor. If it was my VRO could I operate with mid range and wot? My plug color on all 3 is a dark brown, dry not wet. Could it be ignition?

Everything you write seems to indicate a lean condition. Low fuel delivery to the carbs, not a carb problem.
