u have yamaha f15 , its 2011 year... i know its same block as 20hp , but whats the diference ? us it only the carburetor or a camshaft too , or is it somthing other ...pls help

Go to the Yamaha parts catalog for your model motor. Then open the parts catalog for the same year and same model F20.

Compare the parts used for the two models. The parts that are peculiar to your motor will be removed. The like kind parts used on the F20 will be installed on your motor.

block, cyl head, cid all same. The carb is the only part that affects power that is different. The Venturi sizes are noticeably different sizes. I have converted a few of these over the years

Reason why I ask is because in some other models there is more to it than just the carburetor.

Are you using a new OEM carburetor, a used OEM carburetor or an aftermarket carburetor?

If new OEM, a pretty expensive modification for a mere 5 HP. Although as a percentage increase it is much greater.

Only aftermarket parts I will ever install is a trim motor or starter. Everything else genuine Yamaha. This model just carb. 33% increase for under $500 not to bad.

Well that’s more than last time I did one. It has been a while I guess. I don’t do retail and Even my cost now 650. Retail on carb still cheaper than new 20hp. New 20 is just detuned 25. So that weight as well as cost. There’s value in the job but in specific applications.
