    I have a 2006 Johnson 115 hp outboard that leaks oil at the prop shaft

    The seals have been installed just like the picture above. The oil is jet black, not sure if it smells like gas. Johnson is a 2 stroke. Prop shaft is smooth.

    I have a 2006 Johnson 115 hp outboard that leaks oil at the prop shaft

    My outboard leaks a slight amount of oil out the prop shaft even after replacing the seals a total of three different times. I can pressure test the lower unit and get no leaks. I hesitate to buy a new prop shaft as they are expensive and not a guarenteed to fix my problem. What are my choices...
