Hi everyone, I’ve just gone to check my oil level on my 2014 Honda bf60 and have noticed these spot stains on my engine oil dip stick. Starting above the oil level line as you can see in the photo. I have not noticed this before, can anyone please point me in the direction of what may have...

    2014 Honda Bf60a overheating

Looks to possibly be a faulty sensor or the humminbird is reading out the data incorrectly. On the test run I got the humminbird display reading 115°c, I then tested with a infrared thermometer on port side of block and getting about 65°c on bottom and middle cylinder and reading a bit higher on...

    2014 Honda Bf60a overheating

Little bit of an update, still experiencing the high temperature so I’ve looked further and found that the flush valve is completely blocked up. How hot can Honda BF60 run..?

How did you go with the bf60 engine temp and did you run into any issues? I have only recently hooked up my 2014 bf60 to my sounder and now surprised myself seeing temps up to 115°c. Did you figure out if it was overheating or this is normal operating temp for this engine?

    2014 Honda Bf60a overheating

Hi jgmo, Scary considering I have previously not been able to see temp, it’s possibly been running high temps for a while now. Maybe just running slightly under the temperature limit for the sensor to not be commonly alarming? I’m going to try flush the passages in hope to dislodge something...

Hi there, I was supplied all required anodes for my 2014 bf60 by my local Honda supplier I cannot figure out where this one particular anode is located, I have replaced the internal anodes inside the water jacket and it does not belong in there. If someone could please point me in the right...

    2014 Honda Bf60a overheating

Gday everyone, Having drama with my overheating alarm going off. First went off about a month ago, used the boat a few times after that with no issues at all. I’ve recently set up a NMEA 2000 network to my humminbird Helix, took the boat out yesterday to test it out and see some data and...
