hey all, i got this engine giving me trouble, it is throttle body injection and the pressures are ok, 6psi, low pressure and 29 psi on the high pump
i see a pattern coming out of the injectors but thats all i can tell on that end. i can keep it running indefinitely if i supplement the gas with...
ok, so i wanted to follow up, i went back to the boat with a pressurized water fire extinguisher and went back from the line going into the engine which goes to the fuel cooler. i hit it with the pressurized water a few times and it cleared the system out nicely.
i have a 25hp motor that i can not get the water to flow out of the tell tail. i removed the line to the fuel cooler and the line from the cooler to the block, i tried blowing air into the block but it is solid clogged. i have the lower section off and put a hose up the water intake tube and it...
ok, here goes: i have an HPDI engine that is kicking my ass and need some outside help with it. its a 2001 200hp hpdi,
z200txrz.
before i got ahold of it, a previous mechanic cleaned the medium pressure pump, sent the injectors out for cleaning and replaced all the filters.
once i got the call...
i have a client with a 1940's runabout. it has a straight 6 cyl engine, i was told chrysler, but not confirmed. the starter is on the front ( i think) of the motor. the alternator sits above it. i am in no ways a chris craft mechanic but in my field, you have to dabble with everything.
so, the...
not a bad idea, i actually have a coolant filter i never ended up using for one of my mustangs.
but which side does the filter go? whats the direction of flow?
well i have already pulled all the hose off and stripped the engine down to the block.
i was hoping i could get into the block through the expansion plugs and maybe hit it with a pressure washer. i know i wont get all of it but at this point i dont even know how bad it is inside. i guess i am...
so i bought this boat from someone who lived on a causeway with a lot of silt. so much he could only go out a max of 4 hrs, 2 hrs before and 2 hrs after high tide. so the boat runs great but when you try to winterize it and run it on muffs, it wont push the a/f through. you have to break the...
it is unlikely you get water/gases out of the prop due to he bravos using exhaust tubes instead of bellows. most water and exhaust escape before the leg. the water flow is great out of the back of the boat and the flow coming to the manifolds look real good as well, that is without the...
