    Disabling Quickstart

    How do you disable Quickstart on a 1995 200 hp Johnson? I need to reset/check my WOT timing, as I've replaced everything under the flywheel. I don't have a test prop, and I'm not gonna hang over the motor at 80 mph down the lake. I'm going to use the Joe Reeves method until I can find a test prop.

    No spark

    Hi, 1992 200 V6 Looper. Getting it out of storage this year, and found I only only have spark on cyl's 3 and 4. Ran fine last year, stored properly. Any suggestions?

    Old Johnson Control box

    I have an old Johnson remote control box, with a black round plug to mate with the engine harness. It looks the same as my yellow plug control box on my 72 50 hp Johnson, but it won't start the motor. Can anyone tell me what year OMC's used the big round black plugs?

    Yamaha ignition on an Evinrude

    Like the title says, I have an 86-89 Yamaha ignition on my 96 225 Evinrude. I'm getting a miss-fire/cross fire on cylinders 4 and 6. The egt probes tell me the port bank is running about 450 degrees below the starboard bank. I'm guessing I have a bad ecu? Or does anyone have any ideas?
