1990 Mach one explorer questions

Hi, new here and have a 1990 Mach one explorer I just bought. It’s been sitting for years but I got it running but no water is getting to the engine. Have tried looking up what pumps water to the engine without any details on my engine. Could someone tell me if there is an impeller or what supplies the water to the pump on the front of the engine? It has a 350 in it. I have started the engine with muffs on and then removed the lower part of the what I believe is called the stern drive unit to see if there is a burnt up impeller inside there but I don’t believe mine uses an impeller on the outside of the boat.

Assuming it's an Alpha Drive (as opposed to being a Bravo drive) there is an impeller in the lower unit.
Is there a way I can post pictures on here? The ones I took with my phone won’t post because it says the file is too big. I took the lower unit off and the cover where the impeller would be and it looks like the style mine is doesn’t use an impeller outside of the boat but I don’t see what pumps the water up and into the engine for the engine water pump to circulate it.

If it's an Alpha it's in the lower unit.
If it's a Bravo then it's belt drive on front of the engine.

Sorry to be harsh but 1st thing you need to do is know what you are working on.

Resize your photos to under 1Mb. Often phones have an “email” option or something like it that will reduce the size. Otherwise, there are several apps that will do it. Google “how to reduce photo size on an ***.
Where *** is your phone.

Sorry this is my first boat I’ve ever messed with and all I know is the model they put on the title and the outer unit has been painted so there is no stickers for me to know what it is.

Got the pictures resized thanks for mentioning how to do that.
