2004 90hp 2 stroke throttle linkage clip

My throttle link that connects the throttle to the carbs keeps popping out. I've narrowed it down to the little clip that holds the rod in place. Any ideas what its exactly called and where I can find a replacement?

Maybe you have some unspecified resistance in the linkage circuit. They are something to be desired in my opinion but I don't have any problems with them on my 2002 90 or 115.

This leakage want stay in place. I replaced plastic bushing still doing it

it worked fine for about 4 or 5 take offs?

Does timer base rotate freely?----Remove cowling and test run to see what is forcing this to come loose.

It's like it is misalign. Everything is free the link it seems to be too short.

Was anyone able to fix the issue . I having the same problem . Replace clips but still same issue

I zip tie mine drill a hole on the front lever the back zip tie fine without any drilling. Been working good for 6 mths

I know it has been a while, but do you have pics of how you did this. The zip tie doesn't bind? I was thinking of trying a ball socket link.
