My throttle link that connects the throttle to the carbs keeps popping out. I've narrowed it down to the little clip that holds the rod in place. Any ideas what its exactly called and where I can find a replacement?

it worked fine for about 4 or 5 take offs?Maybe you have some unspecified resistance in the linkage circuit. They are something to be desired in my opinion but I don't have any problems with them on my 2002 90 or 115.
Here is a page that has a diagram of the connections. You may need to replace the retainer #6.My throttle link that connects the throttle to the carbs keeps popping out.
