Currently working on resealing the lower unit on my 1991 Mariner 25 MLH. After removing the driveshaft seals I found corrosion and marring on the gear housing sleeve. Service manual states not to remove the sleeve, which I take is it’s not replaceable. I’m curious if this is repairable or if I should start looking for a new lower unit. If the sleeve is not replaceable, I plan to continue with the reseal then pressure test and hope for the best.
