Gear Oil Leak - What is the Cause

2014 StingRay, 5.7L, Bravo 3 - got a bad leak of gear oil external to stern drive. See photo. Appreciate feedback, never had this problem. I am sure an expert will know what this is all about. Thanks.

Maybe add some contex, your "very light red circle doesnt exactly show a lot so maybe add some info to where to look.

Yellow circle, you can see the blue gear oil coming out from what looks like the exhaust circle. Does that help?

Does the transom system use gear oil?

Check the transom plate gear lube fitting and hose going to the drive.

No the transom does not use oil.

Since I don't know your serial number, I've picked a generic image. Most likely your boat has the style in the upper left box, fitting #6 and/or hose (#12 is bulk piece used inside & out of boat), the portion shown as "S" shaped buried between bellows & outdrive.
