New controls

Was wondering if it was even possible to swap over to a new control box. It’s an 85 model 40hp and the control box has seen it’s better days. Just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on some sort of adapter or conversion kit

You need the 1973 thru 1995 engine to 1996 & later controls. Look under remote controls. P/N 178411
