    Hi bought this 2000 yamaha 100hp 4 stroke with 4 carbs. Started fine oil level was 1.25 inches over the top fill line.changed oil. Took it out it idled rough while in gear at low rpm.. sped it up and seemed better. Got it up to 4500rpm for about 10-15 mins..slowed down and then went to speed up...

    Hello, I just bought a used 9.9 yamaha 4 stroke 2006. I had a hard time starting it. Pulled 50 times with nothing. Then I shifted it into gear and opened the throttle, went back to neutral and it fired tried the same again and then it started and ran. It ran fine on the water for an hour...
